Alopecurus arundinaceus (Creeping meadow foxtail, Creeping foxtail[3]) is a rhizomatous perennial species in the Grass family (Poaceae). Native to Eurasia and widely introduced elsewhere, this sod forming grass is useful as a forage and for erosion control.[4]
